Many businesses across North Carolina say they struggle to find quality workers.  We look at the impact of an apprenticeship program in Alamance County that addresses the immediate need for skilled workers and seeks to grow the next generation of leaders in manufacturing. Many CAP apprentices in Alamance County are training for careers in Mechatronics. Mechatronics is a mixture of mechanical, technical, and computer engineering. The demand for workers in this field led to Alamance Community College creating their own mechatronics program.
